The B66-001 performance characteristics have been tailor made to suite Mediterranean weather conditions. Rolf Vrolijk gave the yacht a very powerful sail plan with increased sail area and this in combination with the lighter displacement and higher stability will result in improved performance especially in the light wind conditions often seen in the Mediterranean. The Baltic 66-001 will be a high performance racing yacht as well as a comfortable cruising yacht representing the best of both Worlds. She will be launched spring 2005.
