| Designers and Builder's Comments |
Baltic 78 Custom is a fine combination of traditional Baltic styling and modern technology. For several decades Baltic Yachts has used the latest technology in both materials and equipment.
Baltic 78 Custom has a traditional teak interior with the finest varnished finish. The combination of wood and soft surfaces creates a warm and luxurious feeling. The interior of this boat has a layout suitable for a big family: a large owner’s cabin with two double berths; three guest cabins with private toilets, and enough room for six guests; and two cabins with upper-lower berth solution for four crew members. The galley is well equipped with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, four burner stove and a fan. All areas have air conditioning.
If the interior is more of the traditional Baltic style, the same cannot be said about the electrical systems. With this boat Baltic has taken a step forward and presents an onboard system that is completely controlled by a touch screen. The system is specifically designed to fulfill all operational and monitoring needs onboard. All functions are handled via a large touch screen, and the system gives the operator both visual and audio responses. Previously manual operations, such as selecting the tanks in use, are now operated via touch screen commands. A simple push on a screen button operates the electrically controlled valves. Visual diagrams on screen give the user a quick overview of the -system status.
This yacht was delivered Summer 2008.
