MOTOR YACHT 48 FT
The first motor yacht ever in the history of Baltic Yachts was delivered in the spring of 1997. This motor yacht is constructed for one of our former sailing yacht owners. The yacht has a traditional exterior styling and raised panel cherry interior in a very classic look. However the look is somewhat deceiving. "Behind the surface" is very modern high-tech, high
performance motor yacht starting from a very deep V hull shape to using Epoxy, Carbon, Kevlar vacuum-bagged laminates in order to reach high and comfortable performance. Hull is in End Grain Balsa sandwich with Kevlar glass fibers and using Epoxy as resin. Deck and flying bridge laminates are Divinycell sandwich with 100% Carbon fibers and Epoxy resin. All major and other structural bulkheads are in Epoxy, sandwich laminates. All laminates are done with vacuum bagging and postcured to higher temperatures for optimum strength.
